Curriculums & Virtual Learning

Educating Coloradans about American Indian History and the Tribes who call Colorado Home is integral to our mission.

Primary and Secondary School Curriculums

PSL’s curriculums present Native American history in a factual, inquiry-based way, fostering critical thinking and emotional reflection. It was well-received by non-Native students, engaging them in advocacy and allyship. Both parents and teachers praised its impact, with students showing strong emotional and intellectual connections to the material. The curriculum has been recommended by BVSD and is under review by SVVSD.

Elementary Curriculum

The elementary school curriculum is designed for younger students (grades roughly equivalent to 1–5) and focuses on Native history, culture, land, and the effects of U.S. government policy in a thoughtful and developmentally appropriate way.
